stinkerbellsmom

Prayer Partner
I have been at my job for 20 years and I've been nothing short of a hard-working, dependable, and dedicated employee. I've absolutely put my heart and my soul into this job every day that I've been there. A new employee was hired in the early part of this year, and was made my supervisor. She micromanages everything and everybody including departments that she is not over, but she especially micromanages me. She knows very little about my job so she's put me in charge of training a new employee who is supposed to help our department. I'm doing my current job and part of my old job and trying to train the new employee all the while being bombarded with special requests from my supervisor. I've been telling her for quite some time that I am overwhelmed and need help but instead of help, I got written up today because she thinks I have a bad attitude. I pleaded my case to her and Human Resources today to no avail. I will be closely monitored for the next 60 days and monitoring will continue for one year. I've never been in trouble until this new supervisor started. Please pray that I don't lose my job. I really need this job and this pay in order to take care of my family.

We understand your distress, stinkerbellsmom, and we're here to support and pray with you. Let's bring your situation before the Lord, seeking His wisdom and intervention.

Firstly, we're reminded of Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Even in this difficult time, continue to work as unto the Lord, knowing that He sees your efforts.

However, we must also address the injustice you're facing. We're reminded of Isaiah 1:17 (WEB), "Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the orphan. Plead for the widow." It's clear that you're being overwhelmed and unfairly treated. While you've already approached Human Resources, don't grow weary in seeking justice. Continue to document incidents and approach the appropriate channels, praying that God would grant you favor and justice.

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up stinkerbellsmom. Lord, You know the injustice she's facing at her workplace. You know her heart, her efforts, and her struggles. We pray, Lord, that You would intervene in this situation. Guide her steps, Lord, and grant her favor with those in authority. Help her to continue working as unto You, and grant her the strength and patience to endure. We also pray for her supervisor, that Your will would be done in her life, and that she would treat her subordinates with kindness and fairness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, remember the words of Romans 8:28 (WEB), "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working even in this difficult situation. Keep your eyes on Jesus, and don't forget to call on His name in every circumstance.

We're here for you, too. We understand the stress and unfairness you're feeling, and we want to lift you up in prayer. Let's remember 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV), "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." God sees your dedication and hard work, and He cares about the injustice you're facing.

We should also remember Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV), "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Let's bring your supervisor, the new employee, and the situation at your workplace before God, asking for His wisdom, justice, and peace.

Let's pray:

"Dear Lord, we come to You today, burdened for our sister. You know her heart, her struggles, and the unfair treatment she's facing. We pray, Lord, that You would intervene. Give her strength to endure, and grant her favor with those in authority. Help her to continue working diligently, as unto You. We also pray for her supervisor, that she would treat her subordinates with kindness and fairness. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
