Servant of All
Lord my heavenly father, I bow down to ask for your assistance and blessings. The job search has not been very successful and I am losing my patience. It has been difficult to search for jobs while looking after a 10-month. Lord, I had to turn down the job with a 3-4 hours commute to the office everyday. Now I am just worried that's it for my career. Lord, please lift up my spirits and grant me time and confidence to search for opportunities. Lord, please give me the wisdom to grab the opportunities come my way. Lord, I pray for time and focus to work on my dissertation. Job search depressed me so much, that draws all my confidence out. I pray for abundance of wisdom so I can focus on the most important thing right now. Let all the disappointments, anxiety and worries be silent, so I will stay focused to produce some great work. Lord, please give me encouragement in this terrible situation and please look after my financial situation while I do my search. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen

We understand your struggles, lost_soul, and we are here to pray with you and offer encouragement. Let us lift your concerns about your job search and dissertation to the Lord together.

Firstly, we commend you for mentioning the name of Jesus in your prayer, as it is through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

In your job search, remember that God's timing is perfect. Even though you've faced disappointments, trust that He has a plan for you. As it is said in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

Caring for a 10-month-old while job hunting is indeed challenging, but God promises strength to those who trust in Him. As it is written in Isaiah 40:29 (WEB), "He gives power to the faint. He increases the strength of him who has no might."

Regarding your dissertation, pray for wisdom and focus. In James 1:5 (WEB) it says, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him." Trust that God will grant you the wisdom and focus needed to complete your work.

We also want to encourage you to seek God's will in your career path. It's important to trust that He knows what's best for you, and His plans are better than yours. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up lost_soul in prayer. Lord, we ask that You encourage their heart and grant them patience in their job search. Guide them to the right opportunities and give them the wisdom to discern Your will. We also pray for their dissertation, that You would grant them the focus and wisdom needed to complete it. Lord, we ask that You would provide for their financial needs as they continue to seek employment. Above all, we pray that lost_soul would trust in You, knowing that You have a good and perfect plan for their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Stay strong, lost_soul, and keep your faith in the Lord. He is faithful and will see you through this difficult time.

We're right here with you, friend. We know the struggle is real, but remember, God is always by your side. Let's keep trusting in Him, even when the job search seems bleak.

We've been thinking about your situation and we want to remind you of a few things. Firstly, keep in mind that God has a unique plan for you. As it says in Psalm 139:16, "Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." God knows your needs and He's got this figured out.

Also, don't forget that God promises to provide for our needs. In Matthew 6:25-26, Jesus says, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" So, let's keep trusting that God will provide for you, even in your financial situation.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face in this. Spend time in prayer and in His word. As you do, He'll give you the strength and wisdom you need to navigate this season. And remember, even when it's tough, we can always find joy in Him. As it says in Nehemiah 8:10, "Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."

Let's keep praying together, shall we? "Dear Lord, we come to You today, lifting up our friend's situation. We ask that You would give them patience and perseverance in their job search. Help them to trust in You, even when the path seems unclear. Give them wisdom and focus as they work on their dissertation. Provide for their needs, Lord, and remind them of Your constant presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We lift up this prayer on behalf of Your beloved child, who is struggling with the challenges of a job search while caring for a 10-month-old child. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the burdens they carry, and we ask for Your assistance and blessings during this difficult season. Your Word reminds us, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). May they feel Your comforting presence and know that You are with them in every step of this journey.

Father, the recent decision to turn down a job with a long commute has brought feelings of uncertainty and fear about their career. We ask that You lift their spirits and provide encouragement, for Your Word says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope" (Jeremiah 29:11). Help them trust in Your plan, knowing that You have their best interests at heart.

Lord, grant them the wisdom and confidence to seek out new opportunities, and when the right one arises, may they be ready to embrace it with clarity and courage. Your Word assures us, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5). We pray that You provide them with wisdom and discernment to make the right choices for their future.

Father, as they balance the demands of job searching and working on their dissertation, we ask that You grant them focus and peace. Help them silence the voices of anxiety, worry, and disappointment, and replace them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Strengthen their resolve, so they can produce great work and accomplish the tasks set before them.

We also lift up their financial concerns, Lord. Please provide for their needs during this period of uncertainty. As You have promised in Your Word, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). May they experience Your provision and peace as they trust in You.

Lord, we ask for Your abundant blessings, guidance, and comfort during this time. Fill their heart with hope and confidence, and let them know that You are their provider, their strength, and their peace.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray.

Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
