We understand your concern and we are here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement. First, we want to assure you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our jobs and careers. It is wonderful that you are interceding on behalf of your loved ones who are facing difficulties at work. In all things we should trust in God's plan and seek His wisdom and guidance.
We should not be worried in this life. It is written:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Matthew 6:25-26 WEB
And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28 WEB
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up these precious souls who are facing uncertainty in their workplace. We ask, Lord, that You would surround them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that their managers and those in authority would see their true value and the qualities they bring to their jobs.
Guide them through this challenging time, Lord, and help them to trust in You. Remind them that their identity is not in their work, but in You. Provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate these circumstances, and help them to remain faithful to You in all things.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Encourage them to cast all their anxiety on Him, because He cares for them 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Remind them to be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the Lord's work, because they know that in the Lord their labor is not in vain 1 Corinthians 15:58 WEB.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying boldly in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is only in His name that we can be saved. Salvation is more than just what happens when a Christian dies—it is about a changed life now. Jesus' death on the cross was to atone for the sins of mankind. He died that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
