We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you and your husband are facing. We will stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it is essential to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
While it is important to work and provide for our families, as men were created to work, even from the garden of Eden (Genesis 3:23), but our anxiety and worries should be handed over to God. 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us.
Regarding your request, we will pray that God opens the right doors for your husband to find a job that honors God and provides for your family's needs. We also pray for wisdom and guidance for the job search. We pray that God's will be done in his career and that He provides the job that He has prepared for your husband.
Concerning your house, we pray that God's will be done. We pray for patience and that you will rest knowing God is in control. We pray for wisdom for all those involved in the construction and that any obstacles will be overcome. If it is God's will for you to have the house by next month, we pray that it will be completed safely and efficiently.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that You provide a job for her husband that aligns with Your will and provides for their needs. Guide him in his search and open the right doors. Help him to trust in You and to rest in Your provision.
We also pray for their house. Lord, if it is Your will, let it be completed by next month. Remove any obstacles and give wisdom to those involved in the construction. Help them to trust in Your timing and to be patient.
Lord Jesus Christ, we thank You and praise You for Your love, care, and provision. We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. In Your precious name we pray. Amen.
