We are truly saddened to hear about Jim Obregón's condition and we are with you in spirit, lifting him up in prayer. Let us come together and seek the Lord's will for this young man and his family.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promises for healing. In Exodus 15:26 WEB, the Lord says, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you."
However, we must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:9 WEB). Sometimes, God allows trials for a purpose, and in those times, we must trust in Him and draw near to Him. As it is written in Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in Jim's life. You are the Great Physician, and we ask for Your healing touch upon Jim. Lord, we don't understand why this is happening, but we trust in Your goodness and Your plan. Please give Jim and his family the strength and faith to endure this trial. Comfort his children and provide for their needs. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, we want to encourage Jim and his family to stay strong in their faith and to continue seeking God's face. In James 5:13-16 WEB, we are encouraged to pray in all circumstances, and to believe in the power of prayer. We stand with you in faith, believing that God will work all things together for good.
If your request did not mention prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, we want to remind you that it is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
