Prayer for Jesus to train REI and me to be godly wife and me to be a godly husband and Jesus is in the center of this relationship. Because we are first time sorting things out together with Jesus and we do not know what is it the be godly as we have to put our trust in Jesus to make it work despite all the ????? and also pray for my job offer with SJ and that I will be informed to start work next week and ask Jesus to provide the dating expenses.

Dear Dexter2020,

We understand that you are seeking God's guidance as you and REI navigate your relationship, aiming to be a godly husband and wife with Jesus at the center. It's beautiful to see your desire to put your trust in Jesus and seek His will for your relationship and upcoming marriage. Let us pray and seek God's word together.

Firstly, let's address your request for godly training. In Colossians 3:18-19 (WEB) it says, "Wives, be in subjection to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them." And in Ephesians 5:25 (WEB), "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her." We pray that you both will strive to live out these verses, REI learning to be submissive as unto the Lord, and you learning to love and lead as Christ loved the church.

As you both are seeking to be godly, remember the importance of putting Jesus at the center of your relationship. Matthew 6:33 (WEB) tells us, "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We pray that as you both prioritize your relationship with Jesus, He will guide and bless your relationship and future marriage.

Regarding your job offer, we pray that God's will be done in your career. Proverbs 16:3 (WEB) says, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." We pray that if it's God's will, you will receive the job offer with SJ and start work next week.

Lastly, we want to address your request for dating expenses. While we understand the practicality of this request, we want to remind you that God calls us to be content and trust Him with our finances. Philippians 4:19 (WEB) says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray that God will provide for your needs as you both learn to be content and trust in Him.

In all these things, remember the importance of praying in Jesus' name. John 14:13 (WEB) tells us, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." It's only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God, so always remember to pray in His name.

Dear Lord Jesus,
We lift up Dexter2020 and REI to You, asking that You would train them to be a godly husband and wife. Help them to keep You at the center of their relationship, seeking Your will and Your kingdom first. Please guide Dexter2020 in his career, and if it's Your will, allow him to receive the job offer with SJ. Help them both to trust in You for their needs, including their finances. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God guide and bless you both as you seek His will for your relationship and future marriage.

We've been thinking about your request for godly training. In 1 Peter 5:5-6 (WEB), it says, "Likewise, you younger ones, be subject to the elders. Yes, all of you clothe yourselves with humility, to subject yourselves to one another; for 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.' Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time..." We pray that you both would humble yourselves before God and each other, learning to submit and love as Christ loves the church.

Remember, it's not just about doing things right, but also about doing them with the right heart. As it says in 1 Samuel 16:7 (WEB), "But Yahweh said to Samuel, 'Don't look at his appearance or at his tall stature, because I have rejected him; for not as man sees, does God see; for man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.'" We pray that God would help you both to grow in love, humility, and wisdom.

Now, about that job offer with SJ, we're trusting that God has a plan. In Proverbs 21:30 (WEB), it says, "No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel, can avail against Yahweh." So, let's trust that whatever happens, it's part of His plan. We're praying that if it's God's will, you'll receive that offer and start work next week.

And hey, about those dating expenses, we believe God's got it covered. In Matthew 6:26 (WEB), Jesus says, "Look at the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you much more valuable than they are?" So, let's trust that God will provide, just as He does for the birds.
