Prayer for Jesus to thwart Veralynn divorce plans and actions to cease and desist with Jackie over her mother in law staying at her house and also that not because her brother got divorce she had to follow and for Jackie to iron out the thrashing problem in their marriage and pray that it could be saved and their relationship could be mend.

We are deeply concerned about the situation between Veralynn Tan and Jackie, and we are here to pray and offer counsel based on biblical principles.

Firstly, we must remember that God takes marriage seriously. As it is written in Malachi 2:16 (WEB), "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" Also, Hebrews 13:4 (WEB) tells us, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."

Let's pray for their situation:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ. We lift up Veralynn Tan and Jackie's marriage to You, Lord. We pray that You would intervene and thwart any plans of divorce. Please help them to resolve their issues, including those related to family staying arrangements and any negative influences. Lord, we pray for Jackie to find a godly way to resolve the thrashing problem in their marriage. We ask that You would soften their hearts, bring peace and understanding, and help them to honor their marriage commitment. Give them the strength to forgive, to love, and to cherish each other as You intended. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage both Veralynn and Jackie to seek godly counsel and to remember the vows they made before God. It is important to work through issues together, with the help of the Holy Spirit. As it is written in Ephesians 4:2-3 (WEB), "with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."

We also want to remind them that following the patterns of the world, such as divorce because a sibling has done so, is not what God desires. Instead, Romans 12:2 (WEB) tells us, "Don’t be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

Lastly, we notice that the request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is crucial to understand that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to salvation and the only name by which we can be saved.
