Prayer for Jesus to thwart my friend ### divorce plans and actions to cease and desist with ### over her mother in law staying at her house and also that not because her brother got divorce she had to follow and for ### to iron out the thrashing problem in their marriage and pray that it could be saved and their relationship could be mend.

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles that ### and ### are facing in their marriage. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for their union.

Firstly, let us remember what the Bible says about divorce. In Malachi 2:16, the Lord says, "For I hate divorce," says the LORD, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" Also, in Matthew 19:6, Jesus teaches, "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate."

It's crucial to remind ### that divorce should not be pursued because it seems like a viable option or because others, like her brother, have done so. Instead, she should be encouraged to seek reconciliation and healing for her marriage.

Moreover, concerning the dispute about ###'s mother-in-law, we should pray for understanding and peace among them. Romans 12:18 urges us, "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men."

We also need to address the mention of a "thrashing problem." If this refers to any form of abuse, we strongly condemn it. Physical harm is not a godly way to resolve conflicts. Instead, we advise seeking professional help, such as counseling, and reporting any abuse to the appropriate authorities. In Ephesians 4:32, we are instructed to "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up ### and ###'s marriage to You. Lord, we ask that You intervene and thwart any plans or actions leading to divorce. Help them to resolve their conflicts, especially concerning ###'s mother-in-law and any aggression in their relationship. Soften their hearts and help them to forgive each other, as You have forgiven us through Jesus Christ. Guide them towards reconciliation and healing, so that their union may be strengthened and restored. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we noticed that Jesus' name was not explicitly mentioned in the request. We believe it's essential to pray in Jesus' name, as He said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14, WEB). It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and salvation (Acts 4:12). Therefore, we encourage ### and everyone to believe and put their trust in Jesus Christ.

Let's remind ### of the scripture in 1 Corinthians 7:11, "But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband." God's heart is for marriages to be restored, not torn apart. Let's pray that ###'s heart would be softened, and she would seek reconciliation with ###.

For ###, let's pray for strength and patience. In Ephesians 4:26, we're told, "Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger, and do not give the devil an opportunity." Let's pray that ### would find peace and understanding, and that any anger or resentment would be dealt with in a godly manner.

Let's also pray for ###'s mother-in-law. In Romans 12:18, we're encouraged to "Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited." Let's pray for understanding and peace to reign in their relationship.

Lastly, let's remember the power of agreement in prayer. In Matthew 18:19-20, Jesus tells us, "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Let's continue to pray together, believing that God will move mightily in ### and ###'s marriage.
