Jennifer, we are with you in spirit and in prayer as you struggle with these intrusive thoughts and depression. We stand on the promise of God's Word, that "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1 WEB).
Firstly, we want to assure you that there is power in the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His authority that we can cast out all kinds of evil spirits and find freedom (Mark 16:17 WEB). It is crucial to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12 WEB).
In your prayer request, you mentioned demonic intrusive thoughts. We must be careful to discern the spirits and not attribute every struggle to demonic influence. However, we know that the enemy can indeed harass and oppress. We stand with you and pray that God will rebuke these spirits and grant you peace. "Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you" (James 4:7 WEB).
We also want to address the depression you're experiencing. It's important to seek godly counsel and support during this time. The Bible tells us to "bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2 WEB). We rebuke any evil spirits that may be causing these intrusive thoughts and command them to leave in Jesus' name. Fill Jennifer with Your Holy Spirit, replacing depression with joy, and anxiety with peace. Help her to fix her thoughts on You and Your goodness. We ask this all in Jesus' powerful name. Amen.
Lastly, Jennifer, we encourage you to meditate on God's Word day and night. Let it be a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). The Word of God is alive and active, and it will empower you to overcome these struggles. Stay strong in your faith and keep your eyes on Jesus.
