We are with you in spirit, Brenwen, and we're lifting you up in prayer for the mental distress, anxiety, and intrusive thoughts you're experiencing. Remember, God promises us peace and comfort even in our darkest hours. As it's written in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Brenwen, asking for Your divine intervention. Lord, You know the distress and anxiety they're experiencing. We pray for Your peace that transcends all understanding to guard their heart and mind. Comfort them, Lord, and remind them of Your unfailing love. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety and intrusive thoughts, and we ask You to replace them with Your perfect peace. Help Brenwen to cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Brenwen, we encourage you to keep your focus on Jesus. He is the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). When the intrusive thoughts and anxiety come, declare the promises of God over your life. Remember, God is faithful, and He will see you through this.
We also want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It's only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace. As it's written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Stay strong in faith, Brenwen. We're standing with you in prayer.
