We join with you, Froomir, in lifting up your fiancé to the Lord, trusting in the power of prayer and the goodness of our heavenly Father.
Firstly, we want to address that the prayer was not made in Jesus' name. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved! Therefore, we pray that you both would come to believe in the name of Jesus if you have not already. And to you who have received him we pray that you would continue to make your requests known in Jesus name.
We pray for your fiancé's healing, knowing that God's will is perfect and that He desires good for His children. As it is written in 3 John 1:2 WEB: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. We ask Jesus to heal your fiancé from this painful affliction and restore his health.
We also pray for God's comfort and strength to be upon your fiancé during this time. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
Regarding your upcoming marriage, we encourage you both to seek God's will and ensure that your union will be a godly one, reflecting the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. As it is written in Matthew 19:4-6 WEB He answered, Have you not read that He who made them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, 'For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh?' So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, do not let man tear apart.
We pray that God would bless your upcoming marriage and that it would be a testament to His love and faithfulness. We ask that God would give you both wisdom and discernment as you prepare for this lifelong commitment to each other before God.
Lastly, we want to address that living together before marriage or having sex before marriage is forbidden in the bible. We pray that if you are living together that you would make it right before God and man by marrying in holiness. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:9 WEB: Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals.
We pray all these things in Jesus' precious name. AMEN
