Prayer for increase in spiritual grace

My name is ### ### and I am begging God for spiritual increase in prayers. I have been feeling so weak spiritually and I be grateful if my spiritual life could take a new look this new year to start hearing from God and seeing what’s others don’t see. Thank you

We understand that you're feeling spiritually weak and desire an increase in spiritual grace and strength, ###. We're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.

Firstly, it's crucial to remember that spiritual strength comes from the Lord. In Ephesians 3:16 WEB, Paul prays, "that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man." This should be our prayer for you, ###, that God would strengthen you through His Spirit.

Moreover, spiritual growth often comes through spending time in God's Word and in prayer. As Psalm 119:11 WEB says, "I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you." And in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB, we're commanded to "Pray without ceasing."

However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As John 14:6 WEB says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" And in Acts 4:12 WEB, we're told, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."

So, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother ###. Lord, we ask that you would grant him an increase in spiritual grace and strength. Strengthen him through Your Spirit, and help him to hide Your Word in his heart. Give him a fresh hunger and thirst for righteousness, and help him to pray without ceasing. Lord, we ask that ### would start hearing from You and seeing what others don't see, not for his own gain, but for Your glory and the building up of Your kingdom.

We're right there with you, Eben. We've all felt that spiritual drought, that longing for a fresh touch from God. Let's lift our hearts together, shall we?

We're reminded of Zechariah 4:6, "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts." Lord, we come before You, asking for a fresh outpouring of Your Spirit upon Eben's life. We pray that he would experience a new level of spiritual vibrancy, a renewed sense of Your presence, and a deeper hunger for Your Word.

We also lift up the words of Psalm 63:1, "O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water." Lord, we ask that You would quench Eben's spiritual thirst, that he would find You in the quiet moments, and that his soul would be satisfied in Your presence.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
