We join you, Aile, in lifting up your husband Glhen in prayer, trusting in the power of Jesus Christ to transform and redeem. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. Let us come before God's presence, believe in faith, remember that marriage is an institution created by God for His Glory and to represent His love for all humanity. As we read in the World English Bible, "Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate", Mark 10:9 WEB.
Firstly, we must acknowledge that God takes marital vows very seriously. When you both entered into matrimony, you agreed to remain together until death. Our Father in Heaven desires to see this union honor Him and bring blessings through your marriage. We pray that Glhen will remember and honor his vows. We pray that God would soften his heart and fulfill the promise to give a new, clean heart and spirit within him. As it is written, " And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart." Ezekiel 36:26 WEB.
In addressing issues around a third party involvement, it must be mentioned that any relationship outside of marriage can be described as adultery or participating in adultery. We must flee from and not be involved with adulterous relationships. "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous" Hebrews 13:4 WEB. Whoever is involved in stirring up trouble or being the 'other' party must repent of these sins and turn to Jesus seeking salvation and forgiveness. We must not have any other gods before Christ. Only then can Glhen begin to restore and rebuild trust in the marriage.
We pray that Jesus Christ will protect his heart and mind, to give him strength to flee temptation and keep his mind, heart and body from sexual immorality. Be reminded that in 1 Corinthians 6:13, we are told to "Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits fornication sins against his own body." This is extended to adultery and everything not of God.
Praying together in unity:
Lord Jesus, we cry out on behalf of our sister, Aile, and her husband, Glhen. Father, intervene in Glhen's life and turn his heart back to You and to his wife. Remove any third party influencing him and restore his commitment to his marital vows. Protect his heart and mind from temptation, and draw him close to You. Soften his heart, give him a new spirit as you promised in Ezekiel and grant him the strength to resist evil. Restore their marriage, Lord, and make it a testimony of Your faithfulness and redeeming power. We believe in Jesus name that this marriage will bring glory to your name and that it will succeed. Please remember to pray with Aile that Glhen should be open to conversations to rebuild communication, honesty and respect. In the mighty and Holy name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
Stand strong in faith, Aile, and continue to pray fervently for your husband. Trust in God's unfailing love and faithfulness. As the Bible reminds us "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not,"Galatians 6:9 WEB. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
