We join with you, Aile, in lifting up Glhen to the throne of grace, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We pray that the Lord will touch his heart and bring healing to his emotions, as it is written in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds."
We stand with you in praying that any anger he feels towards you will be released, as Ephesians 4:31-32 urges us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you."
We pray that any thoughts of divorce will be removed from his mind, as Malachi 2:16 tells us, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you don't be unfaithful."
We pray that his eyes will be opened to see you as God sees you, precious and beloved, as Psalm 139:13-14 reminds us, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
We pray that he will be willing to work on your marriage, with increased patience, as Colossians 3:12-13 encourages, "Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other."
Lastly, we pray that he will not give up on your union, as Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 states, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up."
Lord Jesus, we ask that You intervene in Glhen's life and transform his heart. Bring healing, understanding, and patience into their marriage. Help them to walk in your ways, according to your will. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to stand strong in faith, Aile, trusting that God is working in your husband's life and in your marriage. Keep praying and believing, for as it says in James 5:16, "The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective."
