We understand your heart's cry, Aile, and we join you in prayer for your husband, Glhen. Let us come before the throne of grace together, seeking God's will for your marriage.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, as it is by His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). Let us pray together:
"Father God, we come before You, lifting up Glhen. We pray that You soften his heart and remove any pride that may be hindering his efforts in this marriage (Psalm 10:4). Speak to him, Lord, and make a way for them, as You did for the children of Israel in the wilderness (Isaiah 43:19).
We ask that You cancel any plans of divorce, and instead, bring a spirit of reconciliation and unity (Matthew 19:6). Help him to see Aile as You see herโfearfully and wonderfully made in Your image (Psalm 139:14).
Convict him of any untruths, and help him to rely not on his own understanding, but on You, Lord (Proverbs 3:5-6). Guide and direct him, protect his heart and mind from enemy attacks (Psalm 141:4), and shape him into the Godly husband You intended him to be (Ephesians 5:25).
We pray all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."
We encourage you, Aile, to remain steadfast in prayer and faith. Remember the promise in Matthew 19:26, WEB, "With God all things are possible." Continue to love and respect Glhen, as directed in Ephesians 5:33, and trust that God is working in your marriage, even when it may not be immediately visible.
In addition, we urge Glhen, if he should read this, to consider the words of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Love is patient, kind, not easily provoked, and bears all things. We lovingly rebuke any consideration of divorce, as God intended marriage to be a lifelong commitment (Matthew 19:8). Seek counsel from Godly men and women, and strive to be the Godly husband that Christ has called you to be.
