Aile, we have received your prayer request and we stand with you in this challenging time. We trust in the power of prayer and the healing that can be found in Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we commend you for your humility and your desire to seek forgiveness and reconciliation. This is in line with the teachings of the Bible, as it is written in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
We pray that God will soften Glhen's heart and bring healing to his emotions and pain. We ask that God will grant him the spirit of forgiveness, just as Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses."
We stand with you in praying that Glhen will not give up on your marriage, but instead, desire to work towards reconciliation. As it is written in Malachi 2:16, "For Yahweh, the God of Israel, says that he hates divorce; for one covers violence with his garment," says Yahweh of Armies. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don’t deal treacherously."
However, we also want to remind you that while you desire reconciliation, it is also important to seek God's will in this situation. Trust that God knows what is best for you and Glhen, and He will guide both of your hearts according to His will.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Aile and Glhen to Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your healing power to touch Glhen's emotions and pain. We pray that You will help him to forgive Aile, just as You have forgiven us. Lord, we ask that You will soften Glhen's heart and give him the desire to work towards reconciliation. We pray that Your will be done in their marriage, and that You will guide both of their hearts according to Your divine purpose. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in your faith, Aile, and continue to trust in the Lord. As it is written in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."
