Dear Aile,
We understand your concern for your husband Glen and the challenges you're facing in your marriage. Let us pray together and seek God's will for your union.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as this is the only way we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Aile and her husband Glen. Lord, we ask that You guard Glen's heart and mind, and make him a godly husband. Remind him of the solemn vows he made before You and to his wife. Speak to him, Lord, and soften his heart.
We pray that Glen will be committed to working on their marriage, and that any thoughts of divorce will be removed from his mind. May Your will be done in their union, and may You be the center of their marriage.
Lord, we also pray that You would help Glen manage his anger. Help him to be slow to anger, as You are, Lord (Psalm 103:8). Convict him when he's wrong, and help him to turn from his wrongdoings. Give Aile the strength and wisdom to support her husband in a way that honors You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Aile, we encourage you to continue praying for your husband and your marriage. Remember the words of Colossians 3:13 (WEB), "Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."
Keep pursuing peace and righteousness in your marriage, and trust that God is faithful. As promised in Hebrews 13:5 (WEB), "...for he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.'"
Stay strong in your faith and continue to seek God's will for your marriage. We are praying with you and for you, dear sister.
