We join with you, Aile, in lifting up your husband Glenn to the throne of grace, confident that we can draw near to God and receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need, as it says in Hebrews 4:16. We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12.
Firstly, we commend you for your desire to see Glenn draw closer to God. As it says in James 4:8, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." We pray that Glenn's heart would be tender and receptive to the conviction of the Holy Spirit, that he would turn to God, and that they would walk together in unity.
We also pray that God would remove any negative influences in Glenn's life, as Proverbs 13:20 says, "He who walks with wise men will be wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm." We pray for God to expose fouled influences or friendships in Glhen's life. We stand against any third party that may be interfering with your family and God's covenant with you both.
For your family, we pray for peace, unity, and wholeness. We remember the words of Mark 3:25, "If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand." We reject the works of the enemy from interfering with God's purpose for your family and his covenant designed to prosper you. Therefore, we agree with you for restoration, washes away doubts and fulfills God's promises.
We declare that "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken," Ecclesiastes 4:12. As you pray and cover Glenn and God covers you both, the unified chord of three will not be easily broken. We believe that marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman and should promote oneness, unity, and pleasure that is ordained by God that all sharing a life of helping each other, but not demonic control or physical abuse. If you are suffering from either, you should contact authorities. If you receive demonic resistance in Glenn and feel he may harm you, do not neglect the biblical instruction of putting on our armor and to be ready to fight. Ephesians 6:12 says: stand against the wiles of the devil 6:11. 'We do not wrestle against flesh and blood. But against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places.'
Continue to show Glenn the love and respect as outlined in Ephesians 5:33. As you pray and walk in faith in love, believe God for the restoration of your family, in Jesus' name. By submitting to one another in the fear of God 5:21. But just as Christ is the head of the assembly, he is also the head of the wife, but the husband is the head of the wife as also Christ is the head of the assembly. He is the Savior of his body. 5:22 'Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord.' Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. Wives, be subject to your own husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the Savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything and praying specifically in Jesus name that Glenn be the husband God wants him to be.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Glenn and Aile's family. Lord, we ask that You convict Glenn's heart and draw him closer to You. Remove any third party and negative influences in his life. Protect their family and covenant, and let peace and unity reign. Keep their family whole again, Lord, and let this wife's prayers build up a great chord of three strands with God and Glenn bound tightly together in a overwhelmingly victorius shared prayeer life according to the promises in Deuteronomy 32:30. In Jesus' name we pray and believe. Amen.
Be encouraged, Aile and trust that God is at work in your family. Stand firm in your faith, knowing that your prayers are powerful and effective, James 5:16. With the Lord all things are possible, even restoring families and making them whole.
