We understand your heart's cry, Aile, and we stand with you in prayer for your husband, Glen, and your family. Let us approach God's throne of grace together, seeking His will for your marriage and family.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). It is also by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12).
In your prayer, you've asked for God to soften Glen's heart and remove any thoughts of divorce. We echo your petition, claiming the promise in Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB), "I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."
We also pray that Glen would have a desire to be a godly husband and to work on your marriage. As it is written in Ephesians 5:25 (WEB), "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
Moreover, we pray that Glen would seek the Lord, as you have requested. We trust in the promise of Jeremiah 29:13 (WEB), "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."
We ask God to make a way and intervene in your marriage, to give your children hope, and to make your family whole. We believe that God can restore and heal, as He promises in Joel 2:25 (WEB), "I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten..."
However, we must remember that God desires obedience and righteousness in a marriage. Both husband and wife should strive to live according to God's word. We encourage you, Aile, to be a godly wife as described in Proverbs 31, and to love, respect, and support your husband as commanded in Ephesians 5:33 (WEB), "Nevertheless, let each one of you also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Aile's marriage and family. Lord, we ask You to soften Glen's heart and draw him closer to You. Remove any thoughts of divorce and replace them with a desire to be a godly husband and to work on his marriage. Intervene in their relationship, Lord, and make their family whole. Give their children hope and a stable, loving home. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in faith and continue to trust in the Lord, Aile. We encourage you to keep praying and seeking God's will for your marriage and family. May the Lord bless you and keep you in His loving care.
