Dear Aile, we join you in lifting up Glenn before the throne of grace. We commend you for praying for your husband, as this is a powerful and essential part of your role as a wife (Ephesians 5:22-33).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up Glenn. Lord, fill his heart with Your joy and remind him of Your unfailing love. Reveal to him his true value and purpose in Your sight. Transform him into the man You desire him to be, a man after Your own heart (Acts 13:22).
Strengthen him against temptation, Lord, and help him to resist the snares of the enemy. Equip him to be a godly husband, loving and cherishing his wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25). Guide him in maturing in his role, leading his family in righteousness and in accordance with Your will (Psalm 23:3).
Father, we ask that You would bless Glenn with wisdom and discernment, that he may lead his family through Your ways (Proverbs 3:5-6). May his heart be turned toward You, Lord, and may his steps be established in Your Word (Psalm 119:133).
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Aile, continue to be persistent in prayer, as the effectual fervent prayer of the righteous avails much (James 5:16). Trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers and is faithful to act according to His will. Remember that God has called husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church, and wives to respect their husbands (Ephesians 5:22-33). Encourage Glenn in his role, and seek to build him up in love and respect.
Lastly, we encourage you both to continually seek God's will for your marriage and to grow together in Christ. God designed marriage to be a beautiful picture of His love for the church, and He desires for your union to reflect that love and bring glory to Him.
