Aile, we stand with you in prayer for Glhen and your marriage. Let us bring your concerns before the Lord together, seeking His will and intervention.
Firstly, we commend you for your desire to see healing and restoration in your marriage. God's heart is for marriages to be a reflection of His love and commitment to us. As it is written in Malachi 2:16, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" Also, remember the words of 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, "But to the married I command—not I, but the Lord—that the wife not leave her husband (but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife."
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Glhen to You. Lord, we ask that You touch his heart, heal him, and give him a new spirit and a compassionate heart. We pray that You help him to forgive, just as You have forgiven us. We ask that You remove any thoughts of divorce and replace them with a desire to work on his marriage with Aile. Help him to honor his wedding vows, Lord.
Protect Glhen from evil and from the attacks of the enemy. Guard his heart and mind. Let Your will be done in his life and in their marriage. Give them both the strength, wisdom, and love needed to walk through this time.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Aile, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember the words of Romans 8:26, "In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered." The Holy Spirit is interceding for you both even now.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to pray and seek the Lord together with Glhen, as God's promises are for both of you. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:7, "Husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered."
