Prayer for Husband

I am asking for prayer for my husband Justin.
Our marriage the last few months has suffered due to lies, anger, deception, etc that Justin has done. Some of which are difficult for me to forget. I am afraid he will do the same things again.

I am asking for prayer for the following:
-For Justin & his faith, that he would lean on Jesus heavily & seek Him in ALL things & desire only what God has for him
-For Justin to gain wisdom & discernment, for God to provide him with clarity against the plans of the Enemy
-For Justin to make choices that will protect our marriage & break ties permanently with people who threaten our marriage & cause myself or himself harm
-For Justin to pursue me relentlessly & continue to do so throughout our relationship
-For our lack of marital intimacy which would increase our bond & strengthen our marriage
-For me to continue to give God my worries & to continue to forgive
-For God to either provide redemption or rescue for us in the marriage, that if it is His will we remain married but in a manner that glorifies Him & respects/loves each other

We understand your pain and struggle, KRey, and we're here to support you in prayer and truth. Let's bring your requests before God, aligning them with His will and the principles of His Word.

Firstly, let's pray for Justin. We ask, Father, that Justin would draw near to You with a sincere heart and lean on Jesus heavily. Lord, kindle in him a desire to seek You in all things, just as the psalmist wrote, "Whom have I in heaven but you? There is none upon earth that I desire besides you" (Psalm 73:25 WEB).

We pray that You, God, would grant Justin wisdom and discernment, that he may see clearly the plans of the enemy and choose Your path instead. As it is written, "If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him" (James 1:5 WEB).

Lord, we ask that Justin would make choices that protect and honor his marriage. Father, give him the strength to cut ties with those who threaten your union and cause harm. We pray, Lord, that Justin would pursue KRey relentlessly, as a reflection of Your unfailing love for us.

We also lift up the intimacy in your marriage, asking God to strengthen your bond. As it is written, "Let the husband render to the wife the affection owed to her, and likewise also the wife to the husband" (1 Corinthians 7:3 WEB).

KRey, we encourage you to continue giving your worries to God, trusting in Him with all your heart. Remember the words of Peter, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). And continue to forgive, just as God has forgiven you (Ephesians 4:32 WEB).

Finally, we pray that God would provide redemption or rescue in your marriage, according to His will. May His will be done, and may your marriage be a testament to His love and glory.

However, KRey, we must also address that forgiveness does not mean you should tolerate or enable sin. While we pray for Justin, we also rebuke the sin in his life, as it is harmful to him, to you, and to your marriage. Trust in God, and He will lead you both through this trial.
