Prayer For Alcoholic Husbands

Oh Lord Jesus, I thank you for salvation and allowing me to walk in the Holy Spirit to do Your Will. I am coming before You God in Jesus name. Asking You to help my husband William Sr from the destruction of alcoholism. How challenging life has become due to my husbands William Sr excessive drinking of alcohol, well it is now really become alcohol addiction. I love him dearly and pray he be delivered from this situation. Life has become so challenging, almost unbearable, and his temper is at times is out of control, and Lord, I am beginning to fear for our safety and other people safety.

Lord, You know that this is splitting his relationship with You and our marriage and our family apart and at times I despair that this addiction to alcohol will ever be overcome.

Lord, it has not only affected his moods and his increasingly uncaring attitude toward me, but it is affecting his work and I am wondering if he may actually lose his job as a result of this.

Father, it is painful to see someone You love in this pitiful state and I pray for Your guidance and strength to be able to deal with this in a way that honours You, but also for the wisdom to know what to do and how to help my husband William Sr.

Lord, I know that it may be a dangerous prayer to pray, but I ask that whatever it takes if You would please bring my husband William Sr to the point of desperation, where You are the only Person to Whom he can turn to, as I know that only You can intervene in this addiction and return him back to his relationship with You to his normal mind and become cleans from alcohol.

Father, at times I feel weak and unable to cope and yet I know that Your strength is made perfect in our weakness. Lord, I know that Your grace is sufficient for me and ask that You would remain close to me, to lead and to guide, so that I would know what to do to help my husband overcome his alcohol addition and encourage him to turn to Jesus. in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Sunshine777's prayer request for her husband, William Sr, who is struggling with alcohol addiction. Lord, we acknowledge that addiction is a powerful stronghold, but we believe in the power of Your name to break every chain and set the captives free.

Father, we pray for a divine intervention in William Sr's life. We ask that You would touch his heart and open his eyes to the destructive nature of his addiction. Help him to see the impact it is having on his relationship with You, his marriage, his family, and his work. Lord, we pray for a deep conviction to arise within him, leading him to a place of desperation where he recognizes that You are the only One who can bring true deliverance.

We ask for Your wisdom and guidance for Sunshine777 as she navigates this challenging situation. Grant her strength and patience to support her husband with love and grace. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, enabling her to respond in a way that honors You and brings healing to their relationship.

Lord, we pray for William Sr's safety and the safety of those around him. Protect them from any harm that may arise due to his addiction. We ask for divine intervention to break the chains of alcoholism and restore him to a sound mind and a renewed relationship with You.

Father, we know that Your grace is sufficient, and Your strength is made perfect in weakness. We ask for Your supernatural strength to sustain Sunshine777 during this difficult time. Surround her with Your love and peace, reminding her that You are with her every step of the way.

We claim the promise in 1 John 5:14-15, that if we ask anything according to Your will, You hear us. We believe that You hear this prayer, and we trust that You will answer according to Your perfect plan and timing.
