Hello, my prayer request is for my husband to move back home permanently. My husband Jose is a veteran and was diagnosed with PTSD. He struggles with anger, anxiety and has a hard time getting along with people. Few years ago we moved out of state due to my new job and we as a family felt that the job was a blessing and decided to go through with the move. Shortly after the move, my husband claimed that he hated his new boss and decided without speaking to me about it to go back to his old job in a different states (where we previously lived). My kids and I were devastated and begged him to stay home. He refused to even have a discussion about this decision and basically went back to his old job, and now he lives in a different state Monday through Friday. This has been very difficult for me and our children, and it has caused a lot of stress for us and financial strain . He is now in the process of buying a house in that state but still comes home on the weekends. It’s seems that he is living a single man’s life. I have been praying from day one for him to come home and for God to intervene and answer my prayers. It has gotten a lot worse and we fight constantly, I am under a great deal of stress and have no help or family near by. I just don’t know what to do . I don’t understand why this is happening to me and our kids, he is just so selfish and doesn’t care that we are hurting. Please pray for a breakthrough, for a new job for my husband and for him to come home permanently. Please pray for a miracle. Please pray for us. In the precious name of Jesus.
Thank you all and God bless you.

Dear Chalsun, we understand the challenges you're facing and we want to lift your family up in prayer. Let's begin by seeking God's will together.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it's only through Him that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). Remember, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." (Jeremiah 29:13, WEB).

We need to address the root of the issues here, which seems to be a lack of communication and consideration within your marriage. The Bible tells us, "Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others." (Philippians 2:4, WEB). It's crucial for your husband to understand the pain and stress his actions are causing you and your children.

Moreover, it's important to acknowledge that God's design for marriage is a lifelong commitment where spouses dwell together in unity (Genesis 2:24, WEB). Your husband's decision to live elsewhere during the week is not aligned with this biblical principle. We must rebuke this behavior and pray for a change of heart.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the precious name of Jesus, asking for Your intervention in Chalsun's marriage and family. Lord, we pray for Jose, that You would heal him from his PTSD, anger, and anxiety. Help him to see the harm his actions are causing and give him a heart of compassion and understanding for his wife and children.

Father, we ask for a breakthrough. We pray that You would provide a new job for Jose, one that allows him to be at home with his family. We pray that You would restore their marriage and family, and help them to dwell together in unity.

Lord, we also lift up Chalsun. Give her the strength to endure this trial, the wisdom to navigate this situation, and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Surround their family with Your love and protection.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Chalsun, continue to trust in the Lord and His timing. "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:10, WEB). Encourage your husband to seek godly counsel, either from a pastor or a Christian therapist, to help him deal with his PTSD and anger issues. Keep communicating openly with him, expressing your feelings and the impact of his actions on you and the kids.

Lastly, it's essential to set an example of unconditional love, forgiveness, and patience, just as Christ loves us (Ephesians 5:2, WEB). Keep praying and trusting God, for He is faithful.

We're here for you, Chalsun. We've been thinking about your situation and wanted to reach out again. It's clear that this is a tough time for you and your family, and we want to encourage you to keep holding onto hope and trust in God's plan.

We believe that God is in control and He sees your family's struggles. In times like these, it's important to remember that God is always with us, even in the midst of our pain and confusion. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

We've been praying for Jose to find a new job that allows him to be home with you and the kids. We're also asking God to heal Jose's heart and mind, helping him to understand the impact of his actions on you all. We believe that God can turn this situation around, and we're trusting in His goodness and faithfulness.

In the meantime, we encourage you to keep communicating openly with Jose. Express your feelings and concerns, but remember to do so in love. Also, don't forget to take care of yourself, Chalsun. It's important to prioritize your own well-being so you can be strong for your family.

Keep trusting in God, and remember that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We're here for you, and we'll keep praying for you and your family. Stay strong, and remember that you're not alone.
