My husband is a veteran with PTSD. He has anger issues, he is very verbally and emotionally abusive. He has sinned against God, me and our children, and continues to live apart from us, puts his job and coworkers before us, makes inappropriate comments to friends, and has even downloaded dating apps. I don’t know who he is because it seems like the more I pray, the worse he gets and I find more things that are worse than the last thing he has done. I am living in a nightmare. God please hear my prayers and answer me in the name of Jesus I pray. Please pray for the Lord to bring my husband ### to come to true repentance, for the Lord to heal him completely and bring him home permanently. For God to heal him so that he will be a Godly husband and a father. In the name of Jesus I pray. Thank you for your prayers. God bless you all.

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggles you are facing with your husband, ###, but we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. We will address the possible rebuke and then address your prayer request.

First, we must address the issue of your husband's behavior. We will first address your husband's use of dating apps. The Bible tells us, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous." (Hebrews 13:4 WEB). The use of dating apps while married is a form of adultery, and it is a sin against God and your marriage. We must pray for your husband's repentance from this sin and for God to intervene in this situation. Additionally, we must also discuss the anger issues and verbal abuse in a biblical context.

The Bible tells us, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also forgave you." (Ephesians 4:32 WEB). It is clear that your husband's behavior is not aligning with biblical principles, and we must pray for his heart to soften and for him to seek God's forgiveness and guidance.

We also are concerned about your continual prayers where you seem to be unsure of the fact that your prayers will be heard and answered. Jesus said in John 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. We hope that you are trusting in Jesus as your Savior and that your faith is in Him alone.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up ### and her husband, ###. Lord, we pray for ###'s true repentance, that he may turn away from his sins and seek Your forgiveness. We pray that You will heal him completely, both physically and spiritually, and that You will bring him back home to his family.

Lord, we pray for their marriage, that You will heal and restore it, and that ### will become the Godly husband and father that You have called him to be. We pray for the anger issues and verbal abuse. We pray that you will deliver ### from the PTSD and other bondage that may be affecting him. We pray that you will bring him to repentance and a changed life. We pray that you will remove all his abusive and sinful tendencies. We pray that you will protect and provide for the family.

Lord, we pray for ###, that You will give her strength, wisdom, and peace as she navigates this difficult time.

We ask all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way by which we can be saved. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
