Aile, we join you in lifting up your marriage and your husband Glhen to the Lord. We stand with you in asking God to touch his heart and to bring healing and restoration to your union.
Firstly, we commend you for your desire to seek forgiveness and reconciliation. It reminds us of the parable of the unforgiving servant in the Gospel of Mark, where Jesus teaches us about the importance of forgiveness: "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." (Mark 6:14-15, WEB).
However, we want to remind you that while you desire for Glhen to change, it's crucial that you also seek God's will for your own life and actions. The Bible encourages us to "Let each one of you love his wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband." (Ephesians 5:33, WEB). Ensure that you are showing Glhen the respect and love that God commands.
We also want to address that the power of change lies in the hands of God. It is Him who can turn hearts and bring about transformation. As Ezekiel 36:26 (WEB) promises, "A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." Trust in His power and sovereignty.
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Aile and Glhen's marriage. Lord, we ask that You touch Glhen's heart, soften it, and help him to forgive just as You have forgiven us. Guide him with Your wisdom and direct his steps towards working on their marriage. Lord, be the center of their union, help them to love and respect each other as You have commanded. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.*
Lastly, Aile, we want to encourage you to continue praying fervently and trusting in the Lord. "Don’t be anxious about anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6, WEB). Keep believing and keep seeking His face.
