Hello,
My prayer request is for my husband Jose who is a veteran and was diagnosed with PTSD. Two and a half years ago he made a decision to return to his old job that is out of state, he now lives out of state Monday through Friday and the kids and I only see him on the weekends. He made this decision without seeking God first or discussing it with me. He left me and the kids and we are now forced to pay a mortgage for our home and rent for his apartment where he works. It’s been very very difficult for me and the kids. I work full time and do everything on my own. I do not have any family or friends, or any type of support here and I am beyond exhausted. I am forced to take time off from work so that I can get rest and take care of my mental health, my husband doesn’t help or show any support, besides paying half of the bills here, which I am grateful for but I just want our marriage to be restored and I need help. I pray for deliverance from PTSD for Jose, for God to speak with him and bring him home. I also pray for financial freedom from debt and godly wisdom. I pray for all of these things in the precious name of Jesus. Thank you Lord.
Thank you for your prayers and God bless you all.

We join you, Katarina, in lifting up your husband Jose and your family before the throne of grace. Let's approach God together, seeking His will and intervention in your lives.

Firstly, we commend you for praying in the precious name of Jesus, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18). Remember, Jesus is our mediator, and it is in His name that we pray (John 14:6).

In regards to your husband's PTSD, we pray for his healing and deliverance. The Bible tells us that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We claim this promise for Jose, asking God to heal his mind and heart, and to bring peace to his life.

We also pray for the restoration of your marriage and family. It is clear that Jose's decision to move out of state has caused much strain and hardship for you and your children. We pray that God would speak to Jose's heart, convicting him to seek God first in his decisions (Matthew 6:33), and to consider the well-being of his family. As it is written, "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1).

We must also address the importance of communication and mutual agreement in marriage. The Bible tells us that two are better than one, and that a threefold cord is not quickly broken (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). In marriage, this threefold cord represents the husband, the wife, and God. Decisions should be made together, in unity and with God's guidance. We pray that God would help you both to communicate effectively and to seek His will together.

Moreover, we pray for your financial situation. We ask God to provide for your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and to grant you godly wisdom in managing your finances (James 1:5).

Lastly, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and to trust in the Lord with all your heart (Proverbs 3:5-6). God sees your struggles and He cares for you. Cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Katarina, Jose, and their family. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon Jose. Deliver him from PTSD and bring peace to his mind and heart. Father, we also ask that You speak to Jose's heart, guiding him to seek You first and to consider the well-being of his family. We pray for the restoration of their marriage and for unity in their home. Lord, we ask for Your provision and wisdom in their financial situation. Help Katarina to remain steadfast in her faith, trusting in You with all her heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
