We join you, Aile, in thanking the Lord for the gift of your husband, Glen. It is indeed a blessing to have a spouse, as we are reminded in Genesis 2:18, "WEB: Yahweh God said, 'It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, praising You for the gift of Glen to Aile. We pray for Glen's conviction, that he may seek You diligently. May he rely on You for all his decisions, and may he be faithful and honest with Aile, just as You are faithful to us.
Lord, we ask that You touch Glen's heart and show him how to forgive, just as You have forgiven us. Intervene in his life, we pray, and instill in him the desire to work on their marriage. Remove anyone or anything that is causing division or hindering their union, we ask.
Show Glen how to love Aile as You love the church, as it is written in Ephesians 5:25, "WEB: Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it."
Aile, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for Glen and your marriage. Remember the power of prayer, as James 5:16 tells us, "WEB: The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person accomplishes much."
In all things, keep your hope in the Lord, for He is faithful. As 1 Corinthians 13:7 teaches us, "WEB: Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things."
Lastly, Aile, we want to ensure that you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "WEB: Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you have not already, please consider committing your life to Jesus Christ, believing in His death and resurrection for your salvation.
We stand with you in prayer, believing that God will work in Glen's life and your marriage. Amen.
