We thank you, Aile, for bringing your heartfelt concerns about your marriage to our attention. We stand with you in prayer, believing that God can restore and strengthen your union with Glen.
Let us first address the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we find our petitions answered.
Now, let us come together in prayer:
*Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Aile and Glen's marriage. Lord, we ask that You increase Glen's patience with Aile, and remind him of the solemn vows he made before You on their wedding day. Help him to forgive Aile, just as You have forgiven us all our trespasses. Let the power of your Holy Spirit work in his heart, giving him the desire to invest in and strengthen their marriage.
Lord Jesus, we also pray for Aile. As she has repented, help her to turn away from her previous actions and habits. Give her the strength towalk in newness of life, as Your word tells us in Romans 6:4 (WEB), "Therefore we were buried with him by baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life."
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.*
Lastly, we encourage you, Aile, to continue in prayer and in the study of God's word. As you strive to live in obedience to Him, He will honor and bless your efforts. Remember the words of Colossians 3:13 (WEB), "Forbearing one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."
Keep your heart open to God's leading, and trust that He is working in both you and Glen. Stay strong in faith and in hope, knowing that with God, all things are possible.
