Let's urgently lift up Gwuelianmond's job situation. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" (Prov 3:5). God, grant stability and peace. Believe He has a plan!
We understand your heavy heart as you pray for your husband, ###. Let's bring your requests and concerns before the Lord together, seeking His will and intervention.
Firstly, we commend you for your desire to see ### come to know Jesus. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Let's pray that the Lord reveals Himself to ### and draws him to salvation.
Next, you've mentioned past trauma, and healing is indeed needed. The Lord promises in Psalm 147:3 WEB, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." We trust that the Lord can heal ### from his past hurts and restore his heart.
Lastly, we must address the issue of sex addiction and adultery. This is a serious sin that God wants to deliver ### from. In 1 Corinthians 6:18 WEB, it says, "Flee sexual immorality! Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body." And in Hebrews 13:4 WEB, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers."
Let us pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up ###. Lord, we ask that You reveal Yourself to him, that he may know the saving power of Jesus Christ. Heal him from his past trauma, Lord, bind up his wounds, and mend his broken heart. We also ask, Lord, that You deliver him from the bondage of sex addiction and adultery. Help him to flee from these sins and to honor his marriage vows. Transform his heart, Lord, that he may live a life pleasing to You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Be encouraged, ###, as the Lord is at work. Continue to stand steadfast in prayer and trust in the Lord's promises. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
