We join with you, Aile, in praying for your husband, Glen, and your marriage. We stand in agreement, believing in the power of prayer and the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we address the issue of blame in your marriage. As it is written in Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB), "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you." We pray that both you and Glen will let go of blame and instead seek to forgive and understand each other, just as Christ has forgiven us.
We pray for Glen's heart to be touched and softened by the Holy Spirit. We ask God to give him the courage to take responsibility for his part in the marriage, as it is written in 1 Corinthians 13:11 (WEB), "When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things."
We pray for Glen's conviction and his willingness to work on the marriage, as it is written in 1 Peter 3:7 (WEB), "You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered."
We pray that Glen will seek God in all his decisions and surrender to His will. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray for divine intervention in your marriage, that God would remove all spirits of deceit and lies, and that Glen would become the Godly husband that you need. As it is written in Colossians 3:18-19 (WEB), "Wives, be subject to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and don’t be bitter against them."
Finally, we commend you for praying in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. As it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Aile's marriage and her husband, Glen. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention. Soften Glen's heart and remove any spirit of lies or deceit. Help him to take responsibility, to seek You in all his decisions, and to become the Godly husband that You have called him to be. Help Aile and Glen to forgive each other, to let go of blame, and to love each other as You have loved us. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
