Prayer for husband and family

Hi everyone my husband and I have 3 children, 3 boys under the age of 6. He is under heavy spiritual attack, we have been separated for 3months. He has just come home, Not for us but for our children and because our home is close to his job. The first days were fine but we had a talk last night that went south and it’s very obvious he has a lot of hate and resentment towards me. He’s like a rock and his heart is ice cold. Please pray that his heart be softened, That anything that’s in his way is removed. He used to be so close to God and is now just so lost and it breaks my heart… also pray for me to be understanding of this situation. He is diagnosed bipolar but I feel like this is all very spiritual. Please pray that he has an encounter with God. Thank you everyone

We understand your concern for your husband and family, Lalixon. Let's bring your requests before the Lord together, seeking His will and intervention.

Firstly, we want to assure you that God hears your prayers. As it is written in 1 Peter 3:12 (WEB), "For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears open to their prayer; but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil."

Regarding your husband, we pray that God softens his heart and breaks down the walls of resentment and hatred. We stand against any spiritual attacks on him, praying that "the God of peace will crush Satan under your feet shortly" (Romans 16:20, WEB). May the Lord remove any obstacles hindering your husband's relationship with Him.

We also pray for his spiritual revival, that he may once again draw close to God. As Jesus said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44, WEB). We ask that the Lord draws your husband back to Himself, granting him a life-changing encounter with His presence.

Lalixon, we also lift you up in prayer, that God grants you wisdom, patience, and understanding as you navigate this challenging situation. Remember the words of Colossians 3:12-13 (WEB), "Put on therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do."

Lastly, we pray for your family's unity, that God binds you together in love and restores the joy and peace in your home.

Let us not forget the power of praying in Jesus' name, for it is written, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" (John 14:13-14, WEB).

I know exactly how you feel. My wife left me and is living with another man. She has up barriers and I can’t get through to her. I have prayed in Jesus name for you.
