We understand your heart's cry for Glen, seeking transparency and healing in your marriage. Let us pray together and seek God's will for your union.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Glen and Aile's marriage to You. Lord, we ask that You work in Glen's heart, healing his pain and wounds, and releasing any anger, bitterness, and hatred that he may feel. We pray that You, Lord, will guard his heart and mind, and help him to be truthful and honest in his marriage. Convict him when he is wrong, Lord, and guide him to work on his marriage with Aile. We claim Your promise in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Lord, we pray for restoration in their marriage, that it would be a testament to Your love and faithfulness. We pray that Glen will seek to honor and cherish Aile, as husbands are called to love their wives just as Christ also loved the church (Ephesians 5:25, WEB).
Aile, we encourage you to continue praying for Glen and your marriage. Remember the words of 1 Peter 3:1-2 (WEB), "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear." Your prayers and godly behavior can greatly impact your marriage.
Lastly, we want to ensure that you both have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
