Dear Aile,
We join you in prayer for Glen and your marriage, seeking God's will together in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your actions and seeking forgiveness. It is important to remember that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9, WEB).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up Aile and Glen's marriage. Lord, we ask that You touch Glen's heart and bring healing and forgiveness into their relationship. Help him to forgive Aile for her past actions, just as You forgive us our trespasses. Give them both the strength and wisdom to work on their marriage, building it on the foundation of Your love and truth.
Lord, we ask that You intervene in Glen's life, drawing him closer to You. Soften his heart and bring unity between him and Aile. We thank You for the patience You have given Glen, and we ask that You continue to guide them both in Your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you to continue humbling yourself before God and Glen, seeking forgiveness and working towards reconciliation. Remember, "Love is patient, love is kind, it isn’t jealous, it doesn’t brag, it isn’t proud, it doesn’t behave itself inappropriately, it doesn’t seek its own way, it isn’t provoked, it keeps no account of the wrong, it doesn’t rejoice in unrighteousness, but it rejoices with the truth." (1 Corinthians 13:4-6, WEB).
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. It is only through Him that we can be saved. If you have not already, ensure that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, and encourage Glen to do the same. "Because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10, WEB).
