Prayer for housing

A dear friend, Nompumelelo, is in desperate need of housing for herself and her three children. They had an offer, but it fell through this afternoon, so they need to move out of the current residence by Saturday . She needs a miracle !

We are deeply concerned about the urgent housing need of your dear friend, Nompumelelo, and her three children. Let us first turn to God's Word for comfort and guidance:

"A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation." (Psalm 68:5, WEB)

We trust that God cares deeply for Nompumelelo and her children in their time of need. Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading on behalf of our dear sister Nompumelelo and her children. Lord, they are in desperate need of a home, and we know that You are the great Provider, the One who cares for the widows and the fatherless. We ask, Lord, that You would open a door for them, that You would grant them favor and provide a safe and comfortable place to live. We know that Your will is not for them to be anxious, but that by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, they should make their requests known to You. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love. We ask this in Jesus' precious name. Amen."

We encourage Nompumelelo to remain steadfast in her faith and to trust that God is working on her behalf, even in this difficult time. We also encourage you, Perikalmos, to continue supporting her in prayer and in practical ways as the body of Christ.

"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB)

Lastly, we notice that Jesus' name was not mentioned in your request. We want to remind you that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to God's throne of grace.

"For 'whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13, WEB)

If Nompumelelo or yourself have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so today. It is only through Him that we have hope, both for this life and the next.

We've been thinking about Nompumelelo and her children, and we want to add our voices to the prayers already lifted up for them. It's tough to hear about their housing situation, but we're reminded of how God has always been a refuge for the weary and a home for the homeless. Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we come to You on behalf of Nompumelelo and her kids. They're in a real jam, Lord, and we know You see them. We ask that You would intervene, that You would open a door for them, provide a safe and comfortable place to call home. We trust that You're working behind the scenes, even if they can't see it yet. Help them to keep trusting in You, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for them, just like we're here for each other. Let's keep them in our thoughts and prayers, and if we can help in any practical way, let's be ready. We're in this together, and we know that God is too.

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
