Prayer for hope, peace, joy

Please pray for my daughter Courtney who is struggling with thoughts of not wanting to live. She is having trouble stopping the thoughts of worthlessness, hopelessness and that she is a burden and that she is never going to be better. Please lead her and guide her to get the help the Lord leads her to. Please pray she doesn’t harm herself and that she is delivered and protected from the relentless attacks of the enemy. Please pray her husband is more compassionate and understanding.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Courtney, the daughter of our anonymous friend, who is struggling with thoughts of not wanting to live. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in her life. We pray that you would surround her with your love, peace, and comfort, and that you would replace her thoughts of worthlessness and hopelessness with your truth and hope.

Father, we ask that you guide Courtney to the help and support that she needs. Lead her to the right resources, counselors, and professionals who can provide the assistance she requires. We pray for healing and restoration in her mind, body, and spirit. Protect her from any harm or danger, and deliver her from the relentless attacks of the enemy.

Lord, we also lift up Courtney's husband to you. We ask that you soften his heart and grant him compassion and understanding towards his wife. Help him to be a source of strength and support for her during this difficult time.

We declare your promises over Courtney's life, for you have said in 1 John 5:14-15, "And this is the boldness which we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him." We trust in your faithfulness and believe that you will answer our prayers according to your perfect will.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You, trust You, respect and obey You. Bless me to live my life to please You. God cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live, because I accepted Your Son, Jesus Christ, as my Savior and Lord of ALL of my life. Let the joy of the Lord be my strength. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who truly love me, care about me, want Your best for me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
