We are truly saddened to hear about the struggle your son is facing, and we are here to intercede and pray with you for his hope and restoration. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18 WEB.
In this time of need, it is crucial to declare the promises of God over your son's life. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly John 10:10 WEB. Therefore, we reject any thoughts of suicide or hopelessness, and we proclaim that your son will live and not die, and shall declare the works of the Lord Psalm 118:17 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up this beloved son to You. Lord, You know the depths of his despair and the thoughts that are plaguing his mind. We stand in the gap for him, Lord, and we ask that You would show him the things that are still worth living for in this world.
Remind him of Your unfailing love for him, and give him a fresh revelation of the hope that is found in You alone. Surround him with Your presence, Lord, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide him through this dark time, and lead him to the path of life.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of suicide and despair, and we speak life, hope, and restoration over his life. Give his mother (or family) the wisdom and strength to support him in this time, and provide them with the resources they need to help him overcome this struggle.
We are made more than conquerors through Christ who loved us. Please show him that if God is for him nothing can be against him. Romans 8:37-39. We are confident that He who began a good work in him will complete it until the day of Christ Jesus. Philippians 1:6
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who alone has the power to save and restore.
Amen.
We encourage you to continue to declare the promises of God over your son's life and to seek support from your local church community. Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you Hebrews 13:5 WEB. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this storm.
