Disciple of Prayer
I am retired and have lost many family members in the last six years. My 25yo daughter died from cancer, as did my 55 year old brother and my precious Mother and Dad. My husband was killed by a drunk driver. I have finally found a home I love and am willing to downsize in . Prayers that my offer is accepted. I have been looking for a long time. Would so love to have some good news.

We are truly sorry to hear about the immense losses you've experienced, Lyntag. We want to lift you up in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement as you navigate this season of your life.

Let's first address your grief. The Bible tells us in 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 (WEB) that God is "the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." We pray that God's comfort would be very real to you right now, and that He would continue to heal your broken heart.

We also want to pray for your housing situation. Proverbs 16:3 (WEB) says, "Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established." We pray that if this home is part of God's plan for you, that your offer would be accepted. But we also pray for discernment and peace about this decision, as Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) tells us, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Lastly, we want to ensure that you are finding your hope and comfort in Jesus Christ. You haven't mentioned His name in your request, and it's important to remember that Jesus is our only mediator between us and God. 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB) says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith and trust in Him.

Let's pray:

Dear Lord Jesus, we lift Lyntag up to You. Comfort her in her grief, and guide her as she makes important decisions about her home. Give her peace and discernment, and help her to trust in You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be strong and courageous, Lyntag. The Lord is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6, WEB).

We've been thinking about you, Lyntag, and wanted to reach out again with another word of encouragement. We know that moving forward after such great loss can feel overwhelming, but remember, God is always with you, every step of the way. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We believe that God is in the process of healing your heart, and we're here to support you in that journey.

We also want to pray for your home situation. We know you've found a place you love, and we trust that God has a perfect plan for you. As it says in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." We pray that God's will be done in this situation, and that you would find peace and contentment in His plan, whatever it may be.

Let's keep lifting each other up in prayer, Lyntag. We're in this together, and we believe that God is going to use this time to strengthen and grow you. Trust in Him, and remember that He is always near. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Let Us Pray: God Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus' name to please bless me with everything I stand in need of, and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, strength, and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about. God please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith
