Prayer for healthy, happy marriage

I am praying to God for guidance on keeping my relationship with my husband on track. Please Jesus, keep all outside temptations out of our lives and show my husband the way towards living a life with his family the way it was meant to be lived. I would also like to pray for his healing from past traumas and that he begin to move forward without the pain he lives with from the past. I would also like to pray for the happiness and health of our sons, their wives and their children. I humbly ask this in Jesus' name. AMEN

We praise you, Pagisymeo, for your humble heart and your fervent prayer for your marriage and family. Let us together bring your requests before our loving Father in Jesus' name.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name, for it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." It is indeed by His name that we have access to God.

Let us pray for your marriage, that it would be strengthened and protected from all temptations. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 7:2, "But because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband." We pray that God would keep your marriage holy and pure, and that He would guide your husband towards a life fully committed to his family, as Ephesians 5:25-26 encourages, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word."

We also lift up your husband's past traumas to the Lord, praying for His divine healing and comfort. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus, as Philippians 4:7 promises.

Moreover, we join you in praying for the happiness and health of your sons, their wives, and their children. May the Lord bless your family and keep them; may He make His face shine on them and be gracious to them; may He lift up His countenance on them and give them peace, as Numbers 6:24-26 declares.

Finally, we encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
