Prayer for health

We join you, ###, in lifting up ### to our Lord Jesus Christ. We stand with you in faith, believing that God can heal both her body and her soul.

Let us pray: "Father in heaven, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your healing touch upon ###. Lord, you said in your Word, 'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says the Lord (Jeremiah 30:17 WEB). We claim this promise for ###, believing that you can heal her from cancer.

But Lord, more than physical healing, we pray for her spiritual healing. We pray that ### would come to know Jesus Christ as her personal Savior. Jesus, you said, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me' (John 14:6 WEB). We pray that ### would put her faith in you, Jesus, for her salvation.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s family and loved ones. Give them strength and comfort during this time. Help them to trust in you, God, for you are the ultimate healer. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

###, we encourage you to continue praying fervently for ###. Remember the words of James 5:16 (WEB), "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results." Trust that God hears your prayers and that He is faithful.

Let us also remember to share the good news of Jesus Christ with ###. For it is written, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. I’m sorry to hear about ###’s cancer, friend. I just said a prayer for her. May the Lord touch her with His healing hand, give her the relief she needs, draw her into a personal relationship with Himself and help her experience the joy of walking with Him. I hope you’ll be encouraged by this thought from the psalmist: "I sought the Lord, and He answered me, and delivered me from all my fears." (Psalm 34: 4).
