We understand that you're experiencing physical pain due to work-related stress, and you've come to us for prayer and support. We're here with you, and we believe in the power of prayer in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the source of your strength and healing in Jesus Christ. However, let's remember that while prayer is powerful, it's also important to take practical steps to reduce stress and take care of your physical health. God does not promise the beleiver a life without pain, but He promises to be there through it, comforting us, and providing an escape from unbearable stress. It might be helpful to consider some changes in your work habits or even consult a healthcare professional if the pain persists. The Apostle Paul as a teaching to Christians in the WEB states, "For you were not called to Endlessness, brothers, but to sanctification. Therefore, he who rejects this doesn't reject man, but God, who has also given his Holy Spirit to you But concerning brotherly love you have no need that one write to you. For you yourselves are taught by God to love one another. We know that we have passed from death to life, BECAUSE we love the brothers. He who doesn't love his brother remains in death." 1 Thes. 4:7; There. 3:9; 1 There. 4:9
It would be useful to read and meditate on 1 Peter 5:7, casting "all your worries on him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7 WEB
Let's do lift you up in prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before you the only true and living God lifting up our brother to you in prayer, asking for Your healing touch upon his body. We pray that You would alleviate his pain and grant him complete healing and wholeness. Give him the strength to endure any discomfort and guide him to make wise decisions regarding his work and health. Lord Jesus release him from the stress and provide a way to avoid it in the future. If he can not change what is causing it, then place him there to be an effect on the cause. Release him from it if it will not be a detriment to it. What should be done? It is impossible for him to flee from it without your assistance, Lord may the words of our mouth, and the thoughts of our hearts be holy and acceptable in your sight our Lord, strength and redeemer. Defend him as you did the psalmist against his foes! In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and He cares for you greatly. Trust in Him and take steps to reduce your stress, knowing that He is always with you. If there is a way to alleviate the physical problem that is not due to spiritual problems, then may the Lord Jesus heal him from the discomfort and pain and restore his body to proper functioning.
