Let's urgently lift up our sister who's struggling. "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you." (Ps 55:22) You're not alone! "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted." (Ps 34:18) We're praying for God's comfort and strength. Trust Him!
We are with you in spirit, Corgwel, and we lift up your uncle Phil in prayer together. In times of stress and trial, it's essential to seek God's protection and comfort. The Bible tells us, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28 WEB).
Firstly, let's pray for Phil's health. We ask you, Lord, to be Phil's fortress and strength in this time of stress. Protect him from heart attack, stroke, and any harm that may come his way. We pray for your healing power to touch him, and for your peace to fill his heart. "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says the Lord (Jeremiah 30:17 WEB).
Now, let's pray for his salvation. It's crucial to remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can be saved. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12 WEB). Therefore, we pray that Phil would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. We ask, Lord, that you soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the gospel.
Corgwel, we encourage you to share the good news of Jesus Christ with your uncle Phil. Let him know that God loves him dearly and desires a personal relationship with him. Remind him that Jesus died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins and rose again to conquer death, offering us the gift of eternal life.
