Thank you, Brandi, for reaching out and sharing your prayer request. We appreciate your faith and trust in the power of prayer. We want to remind you that prayer is a conversation with God. It is only through His Son Jesus Christ that we have access to God.
Firstly, we want to address that prayer should be directed to God, and God alone. We pray to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ. Praying to anyone, an angelic hierarchy, or anything else is idolatry and forbidden in scripture. You shall have no other Gods before me.
While it is true that there are angelic beings and hierarchies in the heavens, we are not to pray to them. The Bible teaches us that angels are sent to serve those who will inherit salvation. But even though an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to that which we preached to you, let him be cursed. As we have said before, so I now say again: if any man preaches to you any gospel other than that which you received, let him be cursed. Is it men's favor, or God's, that I am trying to please? Would I be trying to please men if I were still serving Christ?
We are also commanded to test the spirits. Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit who does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God.
With that being said, lets us pray together for you and your family.
Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Brandi, her husband, their children, and their extended family. We pray for Your healing power to touch each one of them, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We stand against any evil that may be causing them harm and ask for Your deliverance and protection over their lives.
We pray for Brandi's job situation, that You would guide her to a new position that aligns with Your will for her life. We ask for Your provision and wisdom in managing their finances during this time of transition. We know that You are their provider, and we trust in You Jesus to meet all of their needs.
We also pray for their bodies, lives, and appearances. We ask that You would help them to see themselves as You see them, fearfully and wonderfully made in Your image. We pray for forgiveness where it is needed, and for the strength to forgive others as you have forgiven us.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and Your love for Brandi and her family. We ask that You would surround them with Your peace, and that they would trust in You with all their hearts, leaning not on their own understanding. We pray for each of them to come to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus Christ that we are made right with you. Father God, it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to you. We ask that they would know Jesus Christ personally as their Lord and Savior. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.
Brandi, remember that God is faithful and that He loves you and your family deeply. Trust in Him and His timing, knowing that He is working all things together for your good. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
As for your request for health and healing, we want to remind you of God's promise in Exodus 15:26, where He says, If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.
Also, remember that God's word says in 1 Peter 2:24, He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. By His wounds you were healed.
