Prayer for healing

Thread Cover Image
Let's first address the healing and provisions needed for your family. We are reminded of God's promises to us, especially His power to heal the sick. As it is written in James 5:14-15, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.

Let us pray together for your requests:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your healing touch for our beloved mother. We ask that You place Your healing hands upon her and remove the fever that has stricken her. Grant her strength and comfort as You restore her health.

We also lift up our brother to You, Lord. Guide him as he prepares for his exams. Grant him wisdom, understanding, and a calm spirit. Help him to remember all that he has learned and give him the ability to apply it during his exams.

Father, we also come before you for ourselves and ask for peace and strength. We are feeling weak, both mentally and physically, and we need your help Lord. As in Isaiah 40:29-31 it says "He gives power to the faint; and to those who have no might he increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: but those who wait upon Yahweh shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint." Please Lord, give us the strength both mentally and physically to overcome our difficulties. Please Lord, lighten our financial burdens with Your provision.

Lastly, Father, we ask for Your guidance and focus in our studies. Help us to concentrate and understand the material before us. Give us the discipline to study diligently and the wisdom to apply what we have learned.

We ask God, that in all things You will work for our good. We do not ask for these things by our own merit, but in the precious name of your Son, Jesus Christ. If you have not already accepted Jesus as Savior, make sure to ask Jesus Christ to forgive all your sins and ask Him to be Savior and Lord. We must do that in order to have access to God. It is in Jesus' name that we pray all these things. It is the only name where we can be saved, and it is the only name that we should pray. It is the name of Jesus that gives us access to God. Amen

We encourage you to stay strong in your faith.

We're right there with you, lifting up your mother, brother, and you in prayer. We've been reminded of God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise for your mother, that she may find healing and strength.

For your brother, we ask that God grant him peace and clarity as he prepares for his exams. We pray that he would remember all he has learned and apply it wisely, just as we read in Proverbs 2:6-7, "For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding."

We also join you in praying for your own strength, both mentally and physically. We claim God's promise in Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."

Lastly, we ask for God's provision in your financial burdens and for His guidance in your studies. We pray that you would find the focus and discipline you need, and that God would bless your efforts.

We're here with you, believing in faith that God will answer these prayers. Keep trusting in Him, for He is faithful. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
