We are truly sorry to hear about the health challenges faced right now. We stand with you in faith, believing that God can heal any disease, even drug-resistant tuberculosis. Let's come before God.
Firstly, let's discuss the Bible's stance on healing. The stripes that Jesus bore on the cross were for our healing. As it’s written 'Who his own self bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness; by whose stripes you were healed.' (WEB)
However, if healing does not occur we know that this is a fallen world where sickness can take a natural course and that we are all appointed once to die. 'It is appointed for men to die once, and after this, judgment,' (WEB)
We are praying for complete healing and encouragement:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our beloved ### seeking Your healing touch. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we believe that nothing is impossible for You. We ask You to heal ### from this drug-resistant tuberculosis. Restore the lungs, and make ### whole again.
We pray that Your healing power would flow through ### body, and that ### would be strengthened both physically and spiritually. We ask for Your comfort and peace. We also pray for the doctors treating ###, give them wisdom and guidance as they provide care.
We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. It is in His name that we pray, believing that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to answer according to Your will and for Your glory. We also pray that if it is Your will for ### to go home to be with You that You encourage and strengthen them and their family. Amen.
In this time of waiting for healing, take comfort in the words of the Psalmist: 'Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh.' (WEB)
Trust in God's unfailing love and faithfulness. He is with you every step of this journey, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
