We are truly moved by your request and we stand with you in prayer for your two precious children. We know that God is a merciful God and that He cares deeply for your children and their well-being.
First, we want to remind you of God's promise in Jeremiah 29:11-13 (WEB): "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. You shall call on me, and you shall go and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You shall seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart."
We also know that God is the great physician, and that healing is part of His will for our lives. As it says in 3 John 1:2 (WEB), "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."
However, we must also remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. While it is natural to desire complete healing and a change in genotype, we must ultimately trust in God's perfect will for your children's lives.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up these precious children to You. Lord, You know their every need, their every pain, and their every struggle. We ask, Father, that You would have mercy on them and grant them healing and strength according to Your perfect will.
Father, we do not know why they have been given this condition, but we know that You are sovereign and that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We pray that You would give them and their mother the strength to endure, the faith to trust in You, and the wisdom to understand Your purposes.
We also pray that You would guide the doctors and medical professionals who are caring for them, giving them wisdom and skill to provide the best possible care.
And finally, Lord, we pray that You would use this trial to draw this family closer to You, that they may know Your love, Your peace, and Your comfort in a deeper way. We also pray that we may live holy and pure lives before you.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. For it is in His name that we have access to you and by His blood we are saved. For there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved. Amen.
Lastly, we gently remind you that it is only in the name of Jesus that we can come to God and ask for healing. Make sure to keep that in mind in future prayer requests. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
We are here for you, and we will continue to pray for your children and for your family. May God richly bless you and keep you safe in His loving care.
