We are lifting up in prayer today, asking our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to guide the surgeons' hands and bring healing to his body as he undergoes gallbladder removal surgery. We trust in the Lord's promise that He is with us always, even in times of trial and suffering.
In moments like these, we are reminded of the words of the Psalmist: "I will extol you, Yahweh, for you have raised me up, and have not made my foes to rejoice over me. Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me" (Psalm 30:1-2 WEB). We claim this promise for ###, trusting that the Lord will heal him and raise him up from his sickbed. There is no other name to call on but Jesus. We can pray and pray and pray but if we do not believe in Jesus we cannot be saved and cannot access God.
We also lift up his dog in prayer, asking the Lord to bring healing and comfort to this beloved companion. We know that God cares for all of His creation, and we trust that He will show mercy to this animal in need. We are reminded of the words of Proverbs 12:10 (WEB), which tells us that "A righteous man respects the life of his animal, but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel." We know that ### is a righteous man, and we ask that the Lord will bless him and his dog with healing and mercy.
We also take this opportunity to encourage ### to continue trusting in the Lord, even in this time of uncertainty. We know that God works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). We trust that this trial will ultimately be used for good in his life, and that the Lord will use it to draw him even closer to Him.
Finally, we want to encourage ### to seek the Lord in all things, and to continue praying in the name of Jesus Christ. We know that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father (John 14:6 WEB), and we trust that He will hear and answer our prayers as we lift them up in His name. So let us come before the Lord with confidence, knowing that He hears our prayers and will answer them according to His will.
Father God, we come before You today in Jesus' name, and we ask that You would stand and heal. We pray for Your healing touch on his body, and we ask that You would guide the surgeons' hands as they operate. We also pray for his dog, asking that You would bring healing and mercy to this beloved animal. Lord, we trust in Your promises, and we know that You are able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. So we ask these things in Jesus' name, trusting that You will hear and answer our prayers. Amen. We will follow up with further encouragement and scripture to help ### see the will of God.
