Prayer for healing

Hi there brothers and sisters in Christ. Please can you pray for healing over my father. The condition of pneumonia has worsened and he suffered from a major stroke last year. Please can you be in agreement with me and pray for healing over him. With love, ### - ###

Thank you, ###, for reaching out and sharing your concern for your father. We are here to stand in agreement with you and lift up your father in prayer.

Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is so important to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is through His name that we have access to God and that our prayers are heard.

First, we acknowledge that healing comes from God alone, and it is according to His will that we pray. We also understand your father is in a grave situation. We need to stand in faith with you. While we pray for his healing we also must be mindful that only God knows the number of our days, and the goal of this life is to live it for Him and to be in right relationship with Him.

We pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing touch for ###'s father. You know his condition and the struggles he is facing with pneumonia and the effects of a major stroke. We ask, Lord, that You would extend Your healing hand and bring restoration to his body. Give him the strength to endure this trial, and give ### and her family the peace that surpasses all understanding to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty.

Lord, we also pray for his salvation, that he would know you intimately and that you would be his Lord and Savior. We ask that You would draw him to Yourself and that he would experience Your love and grace in a profound way. We ask this prayer believing that you are good, and that you are able to do all things.

We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name under heaven whereby we must be saved. We pray believing Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. We pray for your power to be demonstrated in this situation and that you would use it to draw your people closer to you.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
