Thank you for sharing your request for your brother Gene M. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to seek God's will for his healing and strength.
Firstly, we acknowledge that it is through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. It is by His stripes that we are healed. It is only through Jesus that we can boldly approach the throne of grace with confidence. It also by Jesus' name that anyone can be saved. Believing in Jesus and His resurrection from the dead after dying on the cross for our sins is the only way to salvation. We pray that Gene, you, and your family continually believe this truth.
We commend Gene for his faithfulness and endurance despite his health challenges. It is evident that God's grace has been sustaining him, and we trust that His grace will continue to be sufficient for him. We also appreciate the support and care that your sister-in-law provides for Gene. This is a beautiful picture of love and commitment in marriage, as outlined in Ephesians 5:22-33:
Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything.
Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it;
We pray for Gene's healing, particularly for his kidneys, his sense of feeling in his fingertips and toes, and the current stomach issues, diarrhea, and body aches he is experiencing. We stand on the promise of God's word in James 5:14-15:
Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
We also pray for continued strength for Gene, your sister-in-law, and their family as they navigate this journey. May God's grace be sufficient for them, and may His power be made perfect in their weakness, as stated in 2 Corinthians 12:9:
He has said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your healing and strength for our brother Gene. Thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness and grace that have sustained him thus far. We ask that You continue to work in his life and in his body, healing him from every affliction. We pray for his kidneys to function normally, for the feeling in his fingertips and toes to be restored, and for the current stomach issues, diarrhea, and body aches to cease. We also pray for strength and endurance for Gene and his family, that they may continue to stand firm in their faith and service to You. We ask all of these things in accordance with Your will and in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
Remember, God is faithful and His promises are true. Keep holding on to His word and trusting in His goodness. We encourage you to keep praying and believing in Jesus and the salvation message.
