We rejoice with you, Smilee, for the successful completion of your leg surgery. It is wonderful to see your faith in Jesus Christ evident in your prayer. The Bible tells us that "He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and by His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5) and “I am the LORD, your healer (WAB).”
We stand with you in prayer, asking God to have mercy on you and to remove the pain and agony you are experiencing. We pray that He will strengthen you and enable you to walk and resume your regular chores. Remember that even in our weakness, God's power is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our sister Smilee in Jesus' name. Thank You, Lord, for the success of her leg surgery. We ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon her. Remove her pain and agony, Father. Strengthen her to walk and resume her regular chores. You see her tears, Father, please heal and comfort her. Ease the concerns of this surgery and recovery.
Father, help Smilee to trust in You completely, even in this difficult time. Help her to fix her eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), Who endured the cross for the joy set before Him. Help her to understand that as we share in the sufferings of Christ, we will also share in His glory (Romans 8:17). May Your will be done in her life. Give her grace and strength to look forward to the goal of the upward call of Jesus (Philippians 3:14).
We pray this confidently, believing that You hear our prayers. Thank You, Father, for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Smilee. Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). God is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3). Trust in the Lord and He will give you strength.
Turn all your worries and fears over to him, and leave them there, for they are far too many for you to carry yourself (Hebrews 5:7).
